Born and raised in Silicon Valley, I never thought I would leave the start-up tech bubble. Yet here I am now, bringing the start-up spirit to my new home in Europe. As a U.S. expat working in finance, I quickly realized how broken the international tax system was for expats. Therefore, I earned my EA certification from the IRS while getting my Master’s Degree in IT Systems Management. Through my passion for finance and tech, MyExpatTaxes was created (where I currently work as EA and CEO). I truly believe that personal finance should be easy to understand and fun to manage.
